The MGS AGM will be held on Saturday 7th September at 11am BST in Newtown Library, Park Rd, Newtown SY16 1EJ.

At 12pm following the AGM Nia Griffiths will give a talk entitled 'Tragedy and Scandal at the Crown and Anchor, Llanidloes', featuring stories about the landlords of this noted Montgomeryshire heritage pub over almost two centuries. It was first given earlier this year at an open day to investigate the option of a community purchase of the pub, now sadly but hopefully temporarily closed.

Both will be hybrid meetings, so members can attend in person or online via Zoom. If you would like to join either or both via Zoom please request the link by emailing chair@montgensoc.org.
